Why We Give
God is generous and invites us to be as well.
What we do with what God has given us shows the world what is important to us
and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives,
and that includes what we do with our finances.
In Proverbs 3, the Bible teaches us to, "Honor the Lord with our wealth," and here at Life Church, we believe that giving to the Lord financially is an act of worship. What we call tithe, is the first-fruits, the 10% that we give to God out of what we receive.
